Question of the week:<\/strong> Is teleportation via quantum entanglement possible? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My answer:<\/strong> Teleporting information about a single particle may be physically possible. Some experiments (Quantum teleportation<\/a>) have demonstrated limited success. We know that teleporting an entire human body is physically impossible because it would violate the laws of physics. Statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and entropy are guaranteed to generate sufficient uncertainties and chaos as to disrupt a successful teleportation of any large physical object. Speculations on the teleportation of human bodies also ignore the fact that we humans are much more than just physical machines. We are soulish and spiritual beings. We are much more than just physics and chemistry. Sorry, Star Trek<\/em> fans, Scotty can’t beam us up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
