After working briefly at Los Angeles Times, she returned to USC to work in communications and publications. She also taught evenings at Vanguard University (then Southern California College) before taking a full-time faculty position at Pasadena City College. As Hugh became less involved at Caltech and more involved in church ministry, Kathy joined him, heading up a women\u2019s outreach team and occasionally teaching Bible studies, while also working as a freelance writer\/editor. Together they launched and still participate in the ministry of Reasons to Believe. In addition to editing Hugh\u2019s books, Kathy co-authored Always Be Ready: A Call to Adventurous Faith.
